AUTOMATIC HEADGATE

The first designed automatic headgate for sheep. Intended to be used in a raceway. When a sheep puts its head through, it locks automatically. With a flick of a handle, the sheep can continue down the raceway to be sorted. With a flip of another handle, the headgate returns to its original position, ready for another sheep. One side of the headgate is spring-loaded to reduce chance of injury to the sheep. The other side is adjustable so the width can be changed for different sized animals. The automatic headgate works equally well for small and large sheep. When used in conjunction with the SG1475 3 ½ -foot double doors, you have complete access to the sheep. A headgate is a must for any serious shepherd. It holds sheep so they can't move and is more efficient than having someone hold the sheep for you. When the sheep is restrained in the headgate, you can medicate, pregnancy check, eartag, deworm or inspect it. The automatic headgate is pictured with a frame on the backside so it can be hooked directly to the TS900 sorter.

Our manual head gate is good for sheep and goats, with or without horns. It can be connected right into the handling system and is as a much lower cost option over the work platforms. It can be used with the side-access doors (SG-1475). HG1 is very portable. Weighing only 35 lbs., it can easily be moved from one location to another.

The BB2002 is of very heavy duty construction. This 24-inch high deck is ideal for deworming, ear tagging, trimming hooves, giving shots, and all sorts of other things. The unit comes complete with a 5-foot long ramp to a 24-inch high deck that has a drop gate at the top of the deck. The deck and ramp have a tread plate floor for sure footing. There is right and left side access doors on both sides of the deck, with a manual head gate at the front. The head gate has a swing-out cage. The head gate never needs adjustment and is suitable for different sized animals. Automatic head gates do not work on decks or with horned animals.

Our unique head cage allows the head gate to be opened wide so animals can come farther forward, but can't jump through. When the head gate is released, the animal usually backs up and can exit from the right or left side. Down ramps only get in the way!

Our newest version comes with a removable floor, so you can insert a WP42-1 or WP42-2 digital weigh platform into the work deck. Now you can combine two steps into one. It saves times and is less stressful for you and your animals.

These portable wheel assembplies work on both the TM5000 and the WS8000 work tables. The TW50 has 10 inch solid wheels. When you install the handles and push down and lock them in, it raises the table five inches off the ground. THese tables are well-balanced, so it's simply a matter of pushing them, not lifting them.

ELECTRIC LIFT WORK PLATFORM

Our WS8000 goes from ground level to 36 inches off the ground in 15 seconds. The unit comes with a ground Rollin' Stop Gate so it can be hooked into your raceway. It has a bi-fold gate on the work deck. Once the sheep or goat enter the platform, you pull the overhead bar and weigh them. After you're done weighing, you open the head gate enough to entice them in, then lock them in. The platform has double-access doors, so you can work on them at whatever height you prefer. When you're done, you can release them either straight through the head goate or out either side door. The lift motor comes with a one year warranty. The WS8000 coms with the D400 dial.
